Whether a stroller works in everyday life is often decided not when you push it, but at the boot. You can check this before you buy – with three measurements.
How to measure your boot
- Length: from the start of the loading sill to the back of the rear seat, measured along the floor.
- Width: between the wheel arches – that's the narrowest point, not the width at the top.
- Height: from the floor to the parcel shelf or to the lower edge of the tailgate.
Subtract 2–3 cm from each measurement. That gives you room to load and unload without having to force it.
Reading the folded dimensions correctly
Manufacturers usually state the folded dimensions with wheels, some without. At Buggino, the spec sheet shows the folded dimensions the supplier provides – and, where the supplier says so, whether they apply with or without wheels. If a detail is missing, we say so openly in the ‘To be honest’ section.
How to compare properly
Put your three boot measurements next to the folded dimensions in the stroller's spec sheet: the length, width and height of the folded stroller should each be at least 2–3 cm smaller than the space in your boot. Not sure? Send us the three measurements and your car model at info@buggino.com or call us on +49 89 20003903 – we'll work it out with you.
Tip: take the wheels off
On many combination strollers, the wheels can be removed. Depending on the model, this saves a few centimetres and often makes the difference with small cars – in that case, measure the frame without the wheels and place the wheels next to it.
